Good morning sturgeon folks!

This update is current through 4:30 pm on 5/10/2015. There has been one new green sturgeon detected in the Sacramento River. This fish, GS0545, was tagged in 2010 in Willapa Bay, Washington and was detected at the Abv Tisdale real-time station on 5/7/2015. It seems as though it was missed at both the Hood and Sac I-80 stations. We also detected GS0538 at the Abv Tisdale location on 5/1/2015. This fish was traveling upstream at a speed of 57.2 rkm/day. To date, there have been 18 uniquely tagged green sturgeon detected on the real-time stations this year.

There were no new detections of white sturgeon at any of the real-time locations.

Currently there are threee stations on the Sacramento River at Hood, Sac I-80, and Abv Tisdale, one at Middle River, one inside the DCC, and one at Lisbon Weir in the Yolo Bypass toe drain.

Please let me know if there's any other information I could include in these updates.

Best,

Ryan
