Magnificent Minimum Monday in May, My Mass Mailinglist,

This weekend on the real-time 69 kHz acoustic receiver network (Friday at 10AM until today at 10:30 AM PST), we heard from one Green Sturgeon and three White Sturgeon. All had been previously detected within 2016. Eight additional non-sturgeon non-rescue fish were detected as well, but won't be reported herein.

The Green Sturgeon detected this weekend was the one last heard at Colusa last Wednesday (4/27). This fish was heard Saturday (4/30) at Knights Landing, followed by both Sacramento Bridges (Tower + CCF).

Two of the three White Sturgeon were detected in their last heard-from location, and one was detected heading downstream over the weekend. A White Sturgeon last heard from 4/25 at Colusa was detected there again today (5/3). One last detected 4/15 at Knights Landing was detected there again on 4/30. The final White Sturgeon had been last detected 4/26 at Colusa and was detected at Knights Landing, followed by both Sacramento Bridges, all Sunday.

Have a delightful week,

--Matt
